HPAC IN PERSON

ENGINEERING GREEN BUILDINGS CONFERENCE & EXPO
Produced and managed by HPAC ENGINEERING, the Engineering Green Buildings Conference & Expo (EGB) is the only networking and educational event dedicated to green mechanical systems design, technology and applications in nonresidential buildings.

This annual national event on green building design and sustainability for engineers, facility managers and building owner/operators is dedicated entirely to green-engineering tools, techniques and technologies as they apply to mechanical systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.
For the past four years, hundreds of engineers, mechanical contractors, facility managers and other buildings professionals from around the country have attended EGB to learn more about green engineering products and technology and to meet green-engineering solutions providers.

EGB RETURNS TO LAS VEGAS IN 2008!
Following a highly successful 2007 event, EGB returns to Las Vegas and the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, October 21 & 22, 2008. The fifth annual EGB Conference and Expo will be bigger and better than ever!
  • Attendance at EGB 2007 was up nearly 30%

  • 95% of attendees were “Very Satisfied” or “Satisfied” with EGB 2007 overall

  • 94% of attendees were “Very Satisfied” or “Satisfied” with Las Vegas as the location for EGB 2007

  • 99% of attendees were “Very Satisfied” or “Satisfied” with Mandalay Bay as the venue for EGB 2007

FOR ATTENDEES...
EGB 2008 is a must-attend event for all designers and specifiers of mechanical systems for non-residential buildings. It's your best opportunity to interact with experts who understand green-engineering as it applies to mechanical systems and to identify green solutions you can apply to current projects. Key reasons past attendees have participated in EGB include:
  • Learn more about green engineering products and technology
  • Improve their engineering skills and performance
  • Meet green-engineering solutions providers
  • Network with green-building experts and industry peers
EGB offers today’s buildings professionals the information on green-design they need to keep current and do their jobs more effectively. Technical sessions cover energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality and sustainability, as well as the costs, benefits, best practices and applications of green design, and how-to details on obtaining LEED certification. In addition, as data has become more available and building performance has taken on greater significance, sessions on green-building performance have been added to the program.
  • 97% of attendees rated the Topics at EGB 2007 as “Superior” or “Good.”

  • 97% of attendees rated the Presenters at EGB 2007 as “Superior” or “Good.”

FOR EXHIBITORS...

EGB is a highly effective opportunity to connect with influential designers and speficiers who can help you capture a greater share of the prosperous green-buildings market.

The non-residential green-buildings market is currently estimated at nearly $12 billion and is projected to double over the next two years. Mechanical systems work represents anywhere from 25% to 35% of that market – $3 to $4.2 billion today, $6 to $8.4 billion by 2010.

As the industry's only green event focused specifically on green-engineering for mechanical systems, EGB puts you face-to-face with key individuals who
have the greatest influence over specifying and selecting your mechanical systems and components. That makes EGB an ideal venue for displaying and demonstrating the green characteristics and applications of your mechanical systems, components, products, equipment, services and technology in a green-design setting.
